The Village Retirement Group’s sole development and continuing operational focus is the establishment of premier integrated retirement communities in South East Queensland.

THE VILLAGE AT YERONGA
The Village at Yeronga is the first integrated retirement community within a 5 kilometre radius of the Brisbane CBD.  Integrated living means; independent living units and villas, supported living units and an aged care facility all contained within a masterplan site. The Village Retirement Group has approval for 240 Independent Living Units and 62 Assisted Living Units.  The Aged Care Facility comprising of 100 aged care beds has been sold to the Regis Group.

The site at Yeronga is extremely unique in that it is surrounded by three beautiful parks and active sporting fields on its boundary. Located 100 metres from the Brisbane River at Yeronga, the Village boasts spectacular views of the Brisbane city skyline, along with views over surrounding parklands and sporting fields. The Village at Yeronga is a 3 - 5 storey apartment living complex with luxurious 2 and 3 bedroom apartments of unparalleled quality in Queensland.  Suited to the discerning buyer, the apartments range between $409,000 - $809,000.

The first stage of the project is currently under construction and includes 91 two and three bedroom Independent Living Units and complete community facilities for the project.  The construction contract has been successfully let to McNab Builders to the contract value of $38 million. The Village Retirement Group has pre - sold 55 of the 91units with completion of the first stage expected in July 2009. Upon completion, the project will have a gross realisation of over $175 million.

THE VILLAGE AT COORPAROO
Located less than 4.5 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, The Village at Coorparoo is the only integrated retirement living community in the south/east city fringe.  Located at one of the highest points in Coorparoo, the Village enjoys sweeping views to the Brisbane CBD, Story Bridge and beyond.  The property is nestled amongst high quality residential houses in one of Brisbane’s oldest and finest residential suburbs.  Coorparoo is typically characterised by original Queenslanders, undulating hills with magnificent views, extensive parklands, some of the finest restaurants and a variety of shopping precincts.

The development approval has now been granted, with demolition currently underway.  Construction is planned to commence in early 2010. The Village at Coorparoo will consist of 208 2 and 3 bedroom independent living units, 57 Assisted Living units and a 105 bed Aged Care Facility.  A Medical Centre will also be on site. Upon completion, The Village at Coorparoo will have a gross realisation of more than $150 million. 

THE VILLAGE ON THE DOWNS
The Village on the Downs is Toowoomba’s premier retirement community.  Positioned only 3.5 kilometres from the Toowoomba CBD, the village is comprised of 225 two and three bedroom Independent Living Villa’s, a recently completed community centre, shopping centre and a University of the Third Age.  The project has planned another 21 Independent Living Villa’s and 40 Supported Living Units to be delivered over the next year. With over $50 million of sales having occurred, the village is one of the most successful projects in Queensland over the past 7 years. 

THE VILLAGE AT REDCLIFFE
The Village at Redcliffe is a $75 million project on one of the last remaining parcels of residential land in Redcliffe.  The Village Retirement Group has approval for 127 Independent Living Units, 100 Assisted Living Units, and a 100 bed Aged Care Facility.  The Village is located in a quiet leafy setting behind the Grace Lutheran College and only 1.5km from the Kippa-Ring Shopping precinct.  The Village is located 300 metres from the nationally protected environmental area of Hayes Inlet.  The project consists of single level construction with mainly 2 and 3 bedroom villas.

The Village Retirement Group is currently applying for an additional 100 Independent Living Units.  Upon successful approval of this application, the site will increase to 227 Independent Living Units. We currently have operational works approval and are set to commence Stage 1 of the Project.  Under the current approval, the project when completed will have a gross realisation of over $75 million.
