Established in 1979 by Michael Harrison, ME Harrison Investments Pty Ltd (now operating as The Village Retirement Group) focused on a variety of land subdivisions, masterplan developments,  housing and townhouse developments, industrial projects, commercial projects and large scale integrated retirement villages.

Land Subdivisions
We have developed more than 1,000 lots with land subdivisions in Taigum, Boondall, Banyo, Coolum, Nambour, Kallangur, Nudgee, Woombye, Buderim, Mt Gravatt, Toowoomba, and the Gold Coast.

Masterplan Developments
We were responsible for the masterplan approval of 3,000 lots and development of the first 300 lots at Pelican Waters, Caloundra.  We were responsible for the masterplan approval of Bella Vista Estate Caloundra of 1,800 lots.

Housing and Townhouse Developments
We have completed over 400 houses and townhouses between 1988 and 2007 in Boondall, Taigum, Wilston, Hendra and Toowoomba.

Industrial and Commercial
We have gained approval for and /or developed a variety of projects such as the Nerang Industrial Estate, which was a rezoning of 100 acres of rural land into light industrial.  Our commercial projects have included the Brisbane City Council Complex at Indooroopilly, Shell/MacDonald’s at Windsor, the Tower Shopping Centre Complex at Toowoomba and the Boondall Shopping Centre.
